• A one-time, non-refundable application fee of $75 must accompany a new application.
• An annual, non-refundable administrative fee of $175 will be assessed as follows:
  • $175 for the first student
  • $140 for the second student
  • $125 for each additional student enrolled concurrently from the same home.
• The yearly fee covers the cost of mailings to the parent, maintaining the student's permanent record, and ordering spring achievement tests.

Curricular Materials

The purchase of BJU Press curricular materials will be the responsibility of the parents. It is highly recommended that test banks or test packets be purchased from BJU Press in all academic areas in which they are available. These materials may be obtained either new BJU Press or used from local sources.

Textbooks and materials are provided when you choose a BJU Press Distance Learning option.

Transcripts

• One of the main benefits of The Academy of Home Education is the formal transcript for your student which we can provide at any time during the student’s education. Traditionally, these are requested when a student makes application for admission to a college or university or another school program.
• All requests for transcripts must be submitted to the AHE office either by mail, fax, or email. The AHE will provide at no charge five official transcripts and one unofficial (parent copy) transcript.
• $10 is charged for each additional transcript over the above allotment.
• Transcripts can be released only if the student’s fees are paid in full, and a two-week period is required for processing the transcript request.
• Rush processing will require a fee of $25 for any request requiring less than two weeks to process.
