Distance Learning Online is homeschooling made easy. When you enroll your child in BJU Press DLO, he can learn anytime, anywhere. All he needs is a computer and a high-speed internet connection, and he is ready to go. The student login allows access to high-quality video content for each course, online assessments, progress-tracking features, and more. You can purchase entire grade kits K4–12 or individual courses for grades 1–12.
Technical Requirements
- Processor: Pentium class, 1 GHz processor or the equivalent.
- Operating System: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP service pack 2, Windows Vista, or Mac OSX 10.4 or later, iOS (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch), or Android OS (Kindle Fire, Barnes & Noble Nook tablet, Motorola Droid)
- Memory: Minimum of 512MB RAM (or more as required by the operating system*).
- 20% free hard drive space
- Google Chrome Version 13.0 or later, Internet Explorer Version 7.0 or later, or Firefox Version 3.0 or later versions. Other browsers may be used, but may not support all functionality.
- Adobe Flash Version 9 or later
- Adobe Acrobat Reader 7 or later
- High-speed internet connection: LAN, Cable or DSL Modem
- An active email account
*Note: Windows Vista and Windows 7 users will need a minimum of 1 Gigabyte of RAM to run Windows Vista or Windows 7, but 2 Gigabytes is recommended for optimum efficiency.

The Distance Learning Hard Drive is a single device about the size of a video cassette. It contains all of the Distance Learning content for an entire grade level. When you connect it to your home computer or laptop, your child can easily access the video classes. No internet connection is required to use the Hard Drive.
The Distance Learning Hard Drive is available for K4–Grade 8. The Hard Drive is leased to you for 13 months and then returned to BJU Press. Textbooks and essential materials are included with the purchase of a Distance Learning Hard Drive package and are yours to keep.

Our Distance Learning video classes are available on DVD, providing a convenient, portable product that your child can watch on your own DVD player or computer.
Complete grade kits are available for K4-grade 5, and grades 6–12 are available in grade kits or by individual courses.
