Happy 25th Birthday, JourneyForth!

The candles are lit, all twenty-five of them! JourneyForth is celebrating its silver anniversary.

In the early 1980s novels were being written to complement the new reading curriculum from BJU Press. Parents and teachers, and yes, even the children themselves, loved the novels and asked for more. A quiet little girl named Jenny Wren heard the request, and she stepped onto the stage in 1986, dressed in the first ever cover from what was then Books for Young Readers. As the years went by Books for Young Readers became Journey Books and then JourneyForth Books. In recent years the imprint has expanded to serve a wide range of readers from preschoolers to adults. The current JourneyForth catalog includes picture books for young readers, novels and biographies for children and teens, Christian living books and Bible studies for teens and adults, and more.

We invite you to celebrate with us this year as we highlight a variety of JourneyForth titles in Homeschool Solutions, starting this month with the silver anniversary edition of Jenny Wren.
