Rated 2 out of 5 by Content Review Honestly, I just don't find this very exciting. I am a History major and when History rolls around this isn't my favorite time. Content and way it is presented is not very exciting to students or myself. August 18, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by disappointed This is my first year using the BJU history studies. I have used the science, english and reading curriculum for over 3 years now and love them. The history one is disappointing. It is not as user friendly. The student text pages in the teacher's manual are very small. There is a new workbook but yet the teacher's manual is the older one that uses a 'notebook' instead. It is a little confusing. Also, the tests have only been a portion of what the students are learning. The test for the states and capitals was merely that. The text teaches about different things about each state, yet the test is specifically the states and capitals. I hope that BJU will make the history teacher's manual like the science, english and reading ones. It would be much more user friendly. The content is great and the newer workbook is neat, but the teacher's manual is sub par. March 10, 2014
