Rated 4 out of 5Â by Lalminthang The book calls for a practical living both personally and ecclesiastically.
In "The Dividing Line" Mark Sidwell presented his case very well. It is practical, plain, and profound, addressing to every child of God, challenging us to being more like God in His holiness. This book communicates from heart to heart. It is a "must read book" in every seminary, home, and church of course.
Read and find out for yourself.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by John Although this book was published fifteen years ago, in my estimation it is the best book on biblical separation for nearly every educational level.
I have used The Dividing Line for high school classes all the way up to seminary level (the book is heavily footnoted for further study). It is a straight-forward presentation of the much ignored biblical doctrine of separation. Sidwell uses his background in history to clearly illustrate the importance and development of this crucial doctrine. He defines the pertinent terms clearly and very simply presents the biblical data for separation from the world, false teachers, and disobedient Christians. He illustrates the necessity of practicing this doctrine with chapters on Fundamentalism, LIberalism, Neo-orthodoxy, New Evangelicalism, the Charismatic movement, and Roman Catholicism. His glossary is extremely helpful, and the book includes a bibliography, Scripture index, and subject index. There are a few other good books on this subject, but I find this one the most helpful for understanding and applying biblical separation.
