Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful! I have used this reading comprehension with all three of my children and I absolutely love it. My boys are sometimes hesitant to do reading and workbook pages of any sort, but they truely enjoy the stories and the questions associated with this program. I enjoy it as well and we often refer to the lessons learned even years later. It has also introduced us to snipets of stories that we have then gone on to read the full book or found new authors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This worktext is an excellent resource to teach reading skills. Most Christian reading curricula only focuses on comprehension, but this one is much more expansive. This worktext perfectly complements the reading text by blending fundamental reading skills with interesting, up-lifting stories. My students love to do the worksheets, and I love that my achievement test scores in reading have soared!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent materials The Reading 4 curriculum is an excellent reading program. It does an excellent job on furthering thinking skills, reviewing phonics, and developing and maturing writing skills in a child. The fact that it also is a reading challenge to the fourth grade reader is another added benefit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comprehensive reading program but difficult manual I purchased this curriculum as my daughter struggles with enjoying reading and hence comprehension. We have had a hard time implementing this into our school day as the manual is very taxing and overloaded with information. While the information is meant to be helpful, I find it very overwhelming and difficult to sort through. I also find the lesson as written would take far more time that we could allow per day. I also do not like that the answers in the teacher's manual are not written clearly enough so that I would not have to also read the reading selection. Teaching multiple children, I do not have time to read the selection as well. I have found the program to be very thorough and cover many skills. I have simply had to minimize the lesson to keep our day on track and my daughter from resenting her reading.
