Writer doesn’t understand the Holy SpiritOverall curriculum is good, but my biggest issue was the opinionated non biblical point of view on the Holy Spirit and how the writer limited God’s power. Writer states that basically God doesn’t do miracles this day in age which is not biblical at all. And the write has obviously no understanding on the gifts of the Spirit or pentacost. FYI-God is limitless, the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that includes the Holy Spirit.

Very well written and upliftingI am using this book with an 11th grade girl whom I am tutoring. We are taking our time, spending time on the Bible passages, and are only a short way into the book; however, I have glanced through the rest of the book. I am very pleased with it. It is written at a good level for a high schooler and is easy to teach. It presents vital truths in a very uplifting way. The writer of the first section definitely communicates his excitement about God. I love that about this book. I would definitely recommend it to anyone teaching a high schooler.
