Excellent math program
This book is easy to use and teach. Excellent examples and good structure. Love the review questions at the end of each lesson. I was not sure I would be able to efficiently teach Algebra I but the teachers edition has made this easy. So glad we have continued using this math program.

Decent but could be improved
I use the secondary school math curriculum. If I had to give the books an accurate rating, I would probably give them 3.5 stars out of 5. There are a number of lessons that I think they help to present very well. There are a few lessons that I skip, which is not a big deal because that would probably be true for most text books. Also, many of their math tests try to do too much in the upper levels, so I often end up making a lot of them myself. I think the majority of lessons in the curriculum are relevant to what the students need to learn and give good examples with a few exceptions. One big issue I have is that the books are not hardbacks and do not last very long. They have a lot of weight for a paperback.

Great quality, typical of BJU
Algebra was never my favorite subject. Yet this teacher's manual makes it easy to teach it to my children. As with most BJU products, it is rigorous. ( I have heard several say that it is almost a year ahead of many other publishers.)

Keep Algebra Books about Algebra
I'm not sure why so much bible has to be woven into An algebra book. it's a distraction and completely unnecessary. it's fine To be Christian and have Christian values taught in school, but relax in the bible stuff. there's bible classes and bible events at our Christian school. it makes the book weird to shoehorn bible lessons in an algebra book.

Teacher help for tests
This is a straight forward answer guide. The problem I have is that only the answers are given. The problems are not worked out. As a non-math person, it would be helpful to both the teacher and student to see how the problems are worked out to help see exactly where the student made an error.
