A favorite that makes kids LOVE history time!Very pleased with the teacher edition for BJU Heritage Studies! It takes very little prep and is very easy to follow! My kids enjoy the Bible integration of the text and discussions. The colorful illustrations and worksheets draw them in. They are learning so much, retaining the information and asking for more! BJU has a very thorough history curriculum that is challenging, in-depth and fun! A great combination for our family homeschool!

Heritage Studies 3As an elementary school teacher, it is important for to find have a curriculum that is accurate, easy to use, and engaging. Heritage Studies 3 has met all of these requirements. I highly recommend it to others.

disappointedThe curriculum is great. Using the cd to check workbook answers is such a waste of time when I can quickly find the page I'm looking for in my other BJU subjects. If I am assisting more than one of my children, who happen to be working on Heritage Studies at the same time, I have to work with multiple cds . It is so frustrating to me, I will likely use a different curriculum next year. Please offer a teacher workbook answer key.

Adaptable and worth the moneyLike many BJU products, this is visually stunning and interesting. This series makes teaching easy. Lessons can be customized from a quick overview to an in-depth study. The authors weave Godly values into the history of our country. Timelines and character studies are helpful.

Too time consuming to look up answers and docsThis is our third year using BJU and as a family we love this curriculum. Love the updates to color for both teacher and student material. However, do not like that there is no answer key included this year beside the cd. Also would appreciate having access to the end of the book material that is in the student text (i.e.) preamble...etc. Have not had problems with weak binding this year as someone else mentioned.

incomplete curriculumThis is a great curriculum. I have enjoyed using it for my children. However, there is no answer key for the Student Activity Manual. It's very time consuming to read back through the lesson to make sure all the answers are correct. Also the teacher CD is very confusing and difficult to use. The CD also crashes several times when printing the materials.
The one complaint I also have, with the Bob Jones Homeschool curriculum in general, is the teacher manuals are sometimes confusing and hard to follow. The layout of the lessons is time consuming to prepare. As a mother of multiple aged children. I run out of time each night trying to plan lessons for several different grades. Please provide more user friendly lesson plans that are easy to work with, and more time efficient.

Content good, binding poorThe teachers have reported that the student textbooks are falling apart even though they are brand new. They are satisfied with the content and the ease of use, but the value is not good if they do not last even one year... and this is the first quarter!

Very DissapointedAfter having an easy time with science the first semester I was very dismayed by the last of continuity with Heritage Studies. Needed list of materials was incomplete. My daughter has had to stop more times than indicated on the videos to come ask for print outs that are listed nowhere in the daily instructions. It took me a very long time to finally figure out where these important items were located on the Teacher's edition disk. Should these not have been on a separate TTK-CD? The cd's are not in a single uniform format either. Some items are called supplements while others are called IA. Please try agreeing on one label for these items across ALL subjects. Very confusing, time consuming and discouraging.
