Go beyond simply teaching algebra concepts and help you child understand how he or she can use math (specifically algebra) to glorify God and serve others. In the Algebra 2 educational materials from BJU Press, your child will learn concepts such as linear, quadratic, polynomial, radical, and rational functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, and probability and statistics. Complex numbers are also covered throughout the text. Additionally, your child will learn how each concept can be applied to real-life situations. Each lesson contains additional cumulative review exercises strategically designed to help students retain information from previous lessons as well as thorough development of key concepts and detailed examples to promote student comprehension. Expanded exercise sets graded by A, B, and C difficulty levels allow you as the parent to assign work based on your student’s skill level.

Algebra 2I think that the content in this book is excellent for college bound students. The detailed examples help my child learn on her own. I would like to see more biblical integration.

Not happy with the DVD for Algebra 2The teacher for Algebra 2 doesn't really teach anythinng. All she does is write down a few problems and quickly solves each one. I don't think a 10 minute "lesson" is sufficient for this class. Truth be told, we don't use the DVD anymore. we are using Youtube for our lessons now. In fact most DVDs are outdated and we pretty much stopped using them.

Math teacherI believe that this textbook contains most if not all of the material that you would find in an Algebra 2 course. The explanations are very good however the problems do not lead the student to always understand the objective of the section. I think that the book could integrate the Bible a little better. In your Geometry series you have a whole lesson devoted to the Bible. I miss that here. Overall I enjoy using this textbook. I would highly recommend this book.

Excellent book but very high level Algebra 2This book covers more than it needs to for most students. An introduction to matrices would be sufficient, but this book has the student solving multi-variable matrices that are pretty advanced concepts. It also covers trigonometry and conic sections. When I was in high school, the concepts in this book were covered over 2 years in Algebra 2, trigonometry, and analytic geometry. I get the feeling that covering all of that in 1 year is the way things are happening these days.
