Heritage Studies 4 takes your children through American history beginning with the Civil War and ending with World War II. They will then explore 6 regions of the United State, learning about the geography, culture, climate, and economics of each. Mrs. Evanna Walker uses a conversational approach to make students comfortable and appeal to their interests. She believes that reviewing history from a Christian perspective is a vital component in the development of a Biblical Worldview.

Mrs. Walker has eight years’ experience teaching first grade at Bob Jones Elementary School. “My first love is to teach a child to read-primarily so that he can read God’s Word for himself and share it with others. He should be able to appreciate what he reads, draw conclusions, and make value judgments to become a thinker.”
