Algebra 1 Subject Kit (3rd ed.)

Help develop your teenager’s thinking skills with the Algebra 1 curriculum from BJU Press. Algebra 1 provides the thinking skills and experience required for further education and future careers. The curriculum will encourage your homeschooler to think biblically about the applications of algebra. It presents algebra as an important tool that your child can use in exercising dominion over the earth as God commanded. The curriculum also aims to teach for understanding since it is important that your teen understands the concepts being presented.

The Algebra 1 Subject Kit contains the 6 items necessary to teach Algebra 1 successfully: the student text, the teacher’s edition, the tests and tests answer key, and the student and teacher activity manuals.

Algebra 1 not your best subject? We've got you covered. Check out the Algebra 1 Distance Learning course available Online or on DVD.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent math program This book is easy to use and teach. Excellent examples and good structure. Love the review questions at the end of each lesson. I was not sure I would be able to efficiently teach Algebra I but the teachers edition has made this easy. So glad we have continued using this math program. September 13, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Teacher help for tests This is a straight forward answer guide. The problem I have is that only the answers are given. The problems are not worked out. As a non-math person, it would be helpful to both the teacher and student to see how the problems are worked out to help see exactly where the student made an error. February 12, 2013
