Rated 5 out of 5Â by Michigan Excellent book but very high level Algebra 2
This book covers more than it needs to for most students. An introduction to matrices would be sufficient, but this book has the student solving multi-variable matrices that are pretty advanced concepts. It also covers trigonometry and conic sections. When I was in high school, the concepts in this book were covered over 2 years in Algebra 2, trigonometry, and analytic geometry. I get the feeling that covering all of that in 1 year is the way things are happening these days.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by mikelott Unbelievable Resource!
I have been searching for textbooks that can supplement my children's public education which is lacking to say the least. I was especially looking for a U.S. history text and this may be the best I have ever seen including my college text books. Easy to read, nice artwork, great quality and very subtle but important Christian points integrated throughout the book. It does a great job of showing the importance of Christianity throughout our history without going too far. I could not recommend this book more highly!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Alysia Great content, would love other reading options
The only thing that can make this better is if there were an actual digital copy (not the one that you partner with--but on a major platform, namely Amazon Kindle). I have a visually impaired student, and we would benefit from the text-to-speech feature or an audiobook. The text is really small in the book. I would use all BJU text if audiobooks, or at least a better digital edition (that is not rented, but available for purchase and compatible with text to speech) were available.

Thorough; Biblically-based, and challenges you to think, not just repeat facts from memory.

My son really likes this book. He says it is easy to understand, interesting, and helps you understand the relevance of events and see how things fit together. We are not very far into the book, but so far we are very pleased.

Overall it's a good textbook. I would prefer hard cover versus paperback. Also to have a a political map, additional charts and graphs, and a glossary of the terms and people in the back would be beneficial for students locating and clearly defining terms.

I find that this textbook really enhances the students' learning. It is a great tool to be used with lectures, demonstrations, and labs. It is vivid and colorful with a great number of illustrations for the students to look at. The questions at the end of each section lead to higher level thinking and learning. I appreciate this edition!

I have struggled with the grammatical instruction. Not enough quality exercises that really stretch the students ability. Generic biblical focus which is too cheesy for eleventh graders. I am switching to holt.
