Honestly, I like the curriculum. Because I receive these submissions often, I'd like to not have to write 50+ words.
I think the daily review sections are too easy. I think there needs to be harder multiplication problems.
I like the math review books.

The student's worktext's format is colorful and neat. It has informative examples and does not put too much on a page. I also like that it includes word problems on most pages. The teacher's manual is organized where one can tell at a glance what is taught that lesson and what materials are needed. It is a clean and clear presentation. The only thing I don't like is that the answer key is small - too small for old eyes.

The curriculum is clearly written and is simple to implement. However, its simplicity is also its downfall. It has very few tools to actually help a teacher differentiate his/her instruction in order to meet the needs of all the students. A teacher would have to pull in a good number of outside resources in order to create a more complete curriculum. Also, in particular, the 4th grade curriculum has faulty math as it teaches that books, rugs, paper, etc. are 2D objects.

I was a public school teacher before homeschooling my kids. The way I like to teach is to have hands on materials and visuals to go along with the lessons. I find this material to meet these requirements. I also enjoy the stories and related bible verses and lessons that go with some of the lessons. I will be ordering from BJU for my 7th grader next year.

I found it easy to use. I have had a variety of learners understand the instructions and complete the material.
