Physics Subject Kit (3rd ed.)

Physics (3rd edition) offers classical mechanics, work and energy, periodic motion and wave theory, electricity and magnetism, optics, relativity, quantum physics, and nuclear physics. These topics are presented in conjunction with real-world modeling exercises (dominion modeling) that reinforce a Christian worldview by demonstrating the relevance and validity of approaching science from a biblical perspective. The course is mathematically rigorous and algebra-based. The well-prepared student should have completed at least two years of algebra and one year of geometry instruction. In order to help students succeed, the necessary math skills are gradually introduced in a scaffold fashion, renforced with numerous example problems.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Well laid out curriculum. BJU Physics curriculum is a thorough Christ-centered text. I love the way that it incorporates practical day-to-day examples with complex concepts. The teacher tools are great resources also! September 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for an AP or Honors course I use this as a supplemental text in a public school setting. The material i presented in a very clear and concise manner, although I have to edit out (unfortunately) obvious biblical references. The material is very in-depth but could be a bit intimidating for non-honors or AP physics students (or those with a weak mathematical background). April 28, 2014
