Please put the answer key in a full book or notebook; loose pages are very easy to loose. Although the pages come with holes so they can be easily placed in a binder, binders are cumbersome while traveling with homeschoolers.

I Chose the BJU Grammar for my 10th grader because of the focus and concentration on writing. The curriculum provides a good variety of topics and writing styles to help advance a student with aspirations to excel in journalism, editing, or other communication careers.
I like the summary section at the conclusion of each session. Grammar is so boring if you have been studying it since elementary school. BJU's integration of literature and biblical reference help move a boring subject into one that builds character, expands the mind, fosters creativity and motivates students to think beyond the immediate.

This textbook is a big jump in difficulty from Writing & Grammar 9. However, it is good preparation for Writing & Grammar 11 and 12. My sophomores struggle with the combining of all 8 parts of speech into one chapter. I enjoy the personal letters, and I mail the letters out each year even though the students rarely use the postal service any more.
