Well-loved by his University family, he conducted the BJU Symphony Orchestra and various choral groups, acted well-known stage roles, taught University classes, and composed operas, cantatas, film scores and other instrumental music. He and his wife Gwen, who was a University voice faculty member for 35 years, now live in retirement on the campus of BJU.
