BJU Press has released companion software to its Algebra 1, 2nd Edition textbook. Need more examples? more practice? This program works out any problem for you, explaining each step in detail. Where appropriate, it also uses animation to show how formulas change from step to step.

If you'd like an explanation of more examples, just change the numbers and coefficients, and see the new problem worked out. If you’d like more practice, choose “Drill Mode,” and the program will generate as many problems of that type as you’d like. When you think you have the solution, ask the program to show you whether you’re correct and to explain when you’re not.
