Technical Requirements for Distance Learning Online

• Processor: Pentium class, 1 GHz processor or the equivalent.
• Operating System: Windows 7, Windows XP service pack 2, Windows Vista, or Mac OSX 10.4 or later, or iOS (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch).
• Memory: Minimum of 512MB RAM (or more as required by the operating system*).
• 20% free hard drive space
• Google Chrome Version 13.0 or later, Internet Explorer Version 7.0 or later, or Firefox Version 3.0 or later versions. Other browsers may be used, but may not support all functionality.
• Adobe Flash Version 9 or later
• Adobe Acrobat Reader 7 or later
• High-speed internet connection: LAN, Cable or DSL Modem
• An active email account

*Note: Windows Vista and Windows 7 users will need a minimum of 1 Gigabyte of RAM to run Windows Vista or Windows 7, but 2 Gigabytes is recommended for optimum efficiency.

About the Instructors

Mr. Duane Farley, BA, MA

Mr. Manuel Mendoza, BA, MA, MDiv

Mr. Manuel Mendoza is excited about the privilege of teaching students the Bible. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior at the age of 14. It wasn’t until he was 21 years old that he knew the Lord’s calling for his life was to preach His Word. "The Bible can convert the soul of the unbeliever, and it cleanses the soul of the believer. The Bible is important for our times, and, therefore, it must be taught accurately. For me, teaching the Bible is a great joy and privilege. My desire is to help guide your student through a life that is pleasing to Jesus Christ. My goal is for the student to strive for holy living by developing sound convictions based on God's Word."

Mr. Barkley May, BA, MA, MDiv

Mr. May enjoys teaching from God’s Word. "God’s Word is powerful. It convicts, encourages, challenges, and strengthens the believer--and it is still the final and absolute authority for us today. All of God’s Word is just as relevant and applicable to us as it was to those to whom it was originally written. For these reasons it is exciting and challenging to teach the Bible to your student. My goal is that each student will deepen his knowledge of God’s Word, better understand how the Bible applies to him, and grow in his relationship with Christ."
