Builder of Bridges by R. K. Johnson is a biography of Bob Jones Sr., evangelist and founder of Bob Jones University. As an evangelist, Bob Jones was a friend to sinners, a preacher with power. As a fearless prophet, he was an enemy of God’s enemies, attacking disobedience to God’s Word wherever he found it. As an educator, he sensed a compelling need to found a Christian college to train young men and women for God’s service. Johnson, a long-time friend and former business manager of Bob Jones University, tells the story of a boy from southeast Alabama who was used greatly by God.
