(We just finished chapter 1)
I bought this so my 11th grader could do an overview of World Geography. I like the emphasis on Cultural Geography. I only purchased the student text because he didn't need map work and I assumed he could read the text himself. He does well reading it himself. We are using the chapter review as an end of the chapter "test".
The first two units will likely be review for him and I'm looking forward to the units on each area of the world.
My only complaint is that for $50+ I was disappointed it was paperback and wish that information had been more obvious in the description (if it was there at all).

Rated 5 out of 5 by JeninNH Delighted with this geography curriculum!
In choosing a geography curriculum for our homeschool this year I reviewed Runkle's Geography, Around the World in 180 Days (Apologia), and BJUP Cultural Geography. There was no comparison...the BJUP Cultural Geography was hands down the best by far. It is thorough in detailing the physical hallmarks of each region as well as covering both the local cultural and historical impact that has helped to shape that culture. Most importantly it draws the student in to viewing cultural differences through the lens of Scripture and challenging them to think critically about the impacts of missions in various areas. In addition to those more important features it is also colorful and interesting as a text, something that is a draw for the student. Thank you for such a great resource for our homeschool!
