Physical Science for Distance Learning

Physical Science (4th edition) inspires your student to view matter and energy as the building blocks of God’s creation. The student begins with the properties of matter and introductory chemistry, exploring the structure of atoms and molecules and how they combine in reactions and mixtures. This is a laboratory course that includes many hands-on experiments and demonstrations.

This course includes an abridged electronic version of the teacher’s edition and student textbook that can be viewed while logged on to bjupressonline.com.

Technical Requirements for Distance Learning Online

About the Instructor

Mr. Bill Harmon, BS

Mr. Bill Harmon, a course instructor for BJU Press Distance Learning Bill Harmon has loved science for as long as he can remember. After completing his B.S. in Chemistry, he returned to Florida where he gained experience teaching a variety of subjects: science, math, Latin, and computer courses. Now he works as a chemist in the Safety Services Office at BJU, teaches Distance Learning Physics and Algebra, and teaches Chemistry at Bob Jones Academy. He is currently pursuing an M.Ed. in Secondary Education. He and his wife Mary Ann have two children, Brian and Janette. His favorite Bible verse is II Timothy 3:14.
