This book is a comprehensive reading workbook. I reinforces reading and language skills and adds some creative writing, too. It is excellent

Rated 5 out of 5 by Momoffour My son actually does it on his own.
It is wonderful for the grade level and is printed and organized in a way that my 4th grader can maneuver through it with little to no assistance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Homeschooler2 Student text is paper back
This is my third fourth year using BJU reading and I love the how easy it is to use and my kids and I love the stories too! In the years past the readers have always been hard covers and are very durable. This time the student text is paper back. I am concerned how it is going to hold up over time. I was not aware of the change when I ordered so I wanted to let others know about it. Just in case you are expecting it to be a hard cover as it has been in the past.

I wasn't going to use the reading subject this year. I am glad I changed my mind! Reading covers some very important content. I like the skill building sections that are integrated throughout the book. We are on our 2nd year of homeschooling and I love BJU Press. I am not crazy about the expense but it is worth it to see my boys engaged with their books and activities. I see results and they enjoy it. It's a win-win for our family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by New2Homeschool Awesome Reading Curriculum
This is our first year to homeschool. My kids were in public school prior to this year and I also taught high school math in public school prior to this year. This reading curriculum was exactly what we needed. It is super easy to use from a teacher's perspective and the colorful reader and workbook pages are a big bonus for my 4th grader. I wanted to make sure that my 4th grader did not fall behind in her reading level after leaving public school (she was ahead of her grade level) and this curriculum is at the correct skill level for keeping her ahead in her reading.
