Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great material, engaging, clear, clever, with high moral values. I really appreciate this book along with the text and Teachers Edition. The Teachers Manual gives clear directions and helpful additional info. Often the script that manuals have are too corney for my kids but this seems to fit in just fine. Bob Jones materials are fabulous, my kids enjoy them and can work independently. A little pricey but has not stopped me even on a limited income. October 3, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by I am happy with this material! The reason why I chose this worktext was initially to help my son with reading comprehension. In our homeschool setting, we have a very basic reading program. Our girls quickly caught on to reading, but our son has struggled to find answers to questions. Though some of the questions are too difficult for him to complete on his own, with help I believe he is expanding his ability to comprehend, search for the answers in the text book, and learn about reading styles (first person, etc.). I am happy with this material! August 22, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by An excellent resource that I would encourage any homeschooling parent to look into. This is my fifth child to be using this book. I find it fills a lot of my homeschooling gaps. I use a variety of curriculum and this compliments my literature based approach. I have full confidence in BJU having used the Bible and Reading programs over a number of years. I can recommend it as comprehensive, high quality program. February 12, 2013
