Spanish 3 for Distance Learning

Spanish 3 builds on the principles taught in Spanish 2 in order to develop speaking, reading, listening, and writing skills more fully. The course expands on key grammatical points including past tenses, perfect tenses, commands, and the subjunctive mood. Students learn about the civilizations of both Spain and Latin America . Students read selected literature in order to sharpen their comprehension skills. They memorize and recite Scripture passages to develop pronunciation skills and to prepare to share the gospel with native Spanish-speakers.

This course includes an abridged electronic version of the teacher’s edition and student textbook that can be viewed while logged on to bjupressonline.com.

Recommended Viewing Schedule: five 45-minute lessons per week; approximately 176 lessons per year

Technical Requirements for Distance Learning Online

Processor: Pentium class, 1 GHz processor or the equivalent.
Operating System: Windows 7, Windows XP service pack 2, Windows Vista, or Mac OSX 10.4 or later, or iOS (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch).

Mrs. Rebecca Saldivar, a course instructor for BJU Press Distance Learning Rebecca Saldivar had the privilege of being raised in a Christian home. The Lord saved her when she was seven years old. She began her study of Spanish in eighth grade and has loved learning about the language and the people. Due to her interest in Spanish, she graduated with a BS in Spanish Education. She has also completed an MS in Counseling at Bob Jones University. She has been able to travel to Spain and Mexico several times, once as a member of a summer mission team. She is thankful for the love of the language that God has given to her and wants to share it with her students.
