United States History for Distance Learning

United States History traces American history from the time of European discovery to the 2000 election. Students see the influence of physical geography and the development of the free enterprise system. Students analyze the structure of the American government as it relates to various facets of American culture and historic periods. The course emphasizes God's role as the Author of history.

This course includes an abridged electronic version of the teacher’s edition and student textbook that can be viewed while logged on to bjupressonline.com.

Register now! You will receive an email from BJU Press Distance Learning Online regarding login information for the online courses which will be available June 1. You will have through December 2014 to complete your online learning program.

Technical Requirements for Distance Learning Online

Processor: Pentium class, 1 GHz processor or the equivalent.

"I like to look at the picture as a whole—to relate one subject to another so that the child can see how God’s plan fits together. I want the child to want to learn, so the lessons have to be fun. Hands-on is the best way, so I don’t want the student to just watch, but participate too!
