Look inside this book
Your elementary students can maintain and extend academic skills over the summer or anytime with our Vacation Stations activity books. Just two pages a day provide review in math, language, and reading. Do you know that a polar bear actually has black skin? Rising fifth graders will learn about the North and South Poles and Alaska as they review multiplication and division of two- and three-digit numbers, decimals, and fractions. Sentence structure and parts of speech are reviewed. Two reading selections and composition and proofreading activities are included in each week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Summer School I have used this for a couple of years and will use it, again. this summer. I have 3 children and I'm buying a 4th book for my grandchild. The two open pages are divided into one day's lesson with 4 parts. The end of the week's lesson gives fun things (like crossword puzzles), to review what they've learned. Since there are short assignments, there is no problem with it being "summer school." We just include it in the morning chores! May 18, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good material, but not much of it. Overall I am pleased with the material, but for the price it's a terribly thin book. Other publishers provide just as good material for the same price with double the pages. Also disappointed that there's not as much Bible integration as other BJU curricula. April 15, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Summer Brain Drain Prevention Enjoy these books immensely to help keep my kids on track over the summer months. Easily portable and not time consuming. Enough daily material to keep them thinking but not too much to distract from summer fun as well. April 3, 2013
