This Grade 8 kit includes the following courses:
- American Republic DVD Only, 4th ed.
- English 8 DVD Only
- Pre-Algebra DVD Only, 3rd ed. - This new course will be available May 1, 2025.
- Earth Science DVD Only, 4th ed.

- Parent Guide and Student Handout Packets that include all required teacher support materials and answer keys.
Grade 8 Scheduling Information: 180 days of work in English, American Republic, Pre-Algebra, and Earth Science.
Average daily video time: 1 hour 30 minutes.
About DVD-Only Video Courses
Leasing the DVD-only option only includes the DVD sets and access to any additional digital resources that are available on your account on homeschoolhub.com. Please check that you have the corresponding editions before ordering. DVD-only purchases will not include pre-printed test packets (Grades 1–4). Grades 5–12 will receive tests included in the parent guides.
DVD courses that ship between February 1–May 31 will have 20 months to complete the course and return the DVDs. Courses that ship after June 1 will have 16 months to complete the course and return the DVDs.

Printed Teacher’s Editions are not included with this kit. A complete copy of the Teacher’s Edition (formerly TE on CD) and the Teacher’s Toolkit CD as well as files for printing materials from the Teacher Support Materials CD are available during the lease period by logging into the BJU Press Homeschool Hub at homeschoolhub.com. If you desire a printed Teacher Edition, please contact Customer Service for special pricing.
All DVD kits now include a Parent Guide as well as a Student Worksheets Packet. The printed parent guides for Grade 5 and above include tests and quizzes and corresponding answer keys. Test packets sold with textbook kits are not compatible with tests used in video courses.
