Rated 5 out of 5 by I love it ! Last year my child advanced in reading and I know it was this curriculum that helped her out. This year I decided it use it for my son who is in the fourth grade because I was so satisfied with the way my daughter progressed. August 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful! I have used this reading comprehension with all three of my children and I absolutely love it. My boys are sometimes hesitant to do reading and workbook pages of any sort, but they truely enjoy the stories and the questions associated with this program. I enjoy it as well and we often refer to the lessons learned even years later. It has also introduced us to snipets of stories that we have then gone on to read the full book or found new authors. Rated 5 out of 5 by This worktext is an excellent resource to teach reading skills. Most Christian reading curricula only focuses on comprehension, but this one is much more expansive. This worktext perfectly complements the reading text by blending fundamental reading skills with interesting, up-lifting stories. My students love to do the worksheets, and I love that my achievement test scores in reading have soared! June 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent materials The Reading 4 curriculum is an excellent reading program. It does an excellent job on furthering thinking skills, reviewing phonics, and developing and maturing writing skills in a child. The fact that it also is a reading challenge to the fourth grade reader is another added benefit. October 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by All BJUP Reading is absolutely excellent!!! Reading 4 is just as good as the rest of BJUP's Reading curriculum. It enhances the phonics the students have already learned, as well as introducing newer, bigger words. The stories are challenging and fun to read. I love it! September 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love the stories For children who like to read and even those who don't, there are great stories & a variety of literature. The Reader & Workbook are beautifully illustrated, so children are drawn into it. I am happy with the level of learning, esp. compared with public schooled friends. Even though it's designed for Christian Schools (I am just a homeschooler) since I have 3 children, I justified that purchase by dividing by 3 and buying new Worktexts only for the other 2 children. It took a while for me to adjust to the teacher's guide (as it's very thorough-and geared toward classroom use) but I tailored it to my own style. For my two younger girls, I had the older read the story aloud and they both could answer discussion questions. August 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by My son actually does it on his own. It is wonderful for the grade level and is printed and organized in a way that my 4th grader can maneuver through it with little to no assistance. February 13, 2014
