Usability of French 1We bought this set for my 9th grade son, who very much wanted to study a foreign language that I know little about. All of the set is very good - I have only one complaint: the tests have an audible section, which apparently a French speaking teacher administers. I wish this was on the CD as well. Otherwise, the whole set is easily used, and I can tell that my son is getting what he needs.

Took some time to figure out this curriculumThis curriculum assumes that the teacher knows French and the student has some knowledge. This is not good for home school teachers who have no experience with French. After 3 chapters I'm realizing it would be easier to have vocabulary lists for each chapter. I have to keep a running list on the white board. Also, there should be pronunciation of new words for review in class apart from the CD.
