Perspectives in Literature equips students with tested strategies to maximize their reading experiences and apply insights to their writing projects. By introducing students to a diverse range of literary works, Mrs. Beth Cofer will point students toward lifelong reading success. With new and relevant selections of fiction and non-fiction from various authors, genres, and backgrounds, students will develop reading strategies to enhance comprehension, analysis, and evaluation skills. In the segment Frame of Reference, students will learn to tackle ethics and worldview questions. With the help of literary excerpts and the segment Nightly Notes, students will learn about different literary tools.

All DVD kits now include a Parent Guide as well as a Student Worksheets Packet. The printed parent guides for Grade 5 and above include tests and quizzes and corresponding answer keys. Test packets sold with textbook kits are not compatible with tests used in video courses.
