Elementary English Language Arts

Rachel holds a BS in elementary education and an MS in biblical counseling. She taught grade 4 in North Carolina for thirteen years and also served as the elementary supervisor for seven of those years. An avid reader, she is passionate about developing a love for reading in students. She also loves finding ways to increase engagement in the classroom.

Cindy’s passion for Christian education began over thirty-five years ago. She has served on three continents teaching a variety of ages and subjects. Her heart lies with the elementary-age student. She spent two years in China as an administrator and teacher trainer helping Chinese nationals use BJU Press materials to teach and shape their students’ worldview.

With thirty-two years of experience in the classroom teaching grades 3–9, Pam has a passion for helping other teachers. After teaching different subjects and grades in Georgia, Texas, and South Carolina, she found teaching middle school math to be her favorite age and subject.

Elementary Math, Science, and Heritage Studies

Julie holds a doctorate in education and has worked as a teacher, early childhood director, and principal in Christian schools.  She enjoys coaching others as well as working with students of all ages.

With over twenty years of teaching experience, Jamie has been a classroom teacher in a private school, a substitute teacher in both public and private education, and a student teacher supervisor. She enjoys sharing ideas and strategies for making learning enjoyable in all forms of education.

Secondary Math and Science

Rebecca holds a BS in mathematics education, an MS in personnel services, and an EdD in higher education leadership. She has more than thirty years of teaching experience on the high school and university levels. She and her husband have four children and two grandchildren, and they serve in a variety of ministries at their local church.
