Form E (Copyright © 2012)

Form E tests have updated questions and compare your students with newer norms so that they can be more accurately assessed. The test booklets also have full-color illustrations.

Test Details

Schedule

The Iowa Assessments cover a wide range of skills and knowledge. For a full list of subtests and testing times, please see our Form E Schedulepdf document.

Restrictions

Some forms have restrictions (embargoes) in certain states. For Form E, there are certain independent school districts in Texas where this test is unavailable: Fort Worth, Houston, and Spring Branch. In these areas, the Form C should be used instead.

CogAT®

The newest version of the Cognitive Abilities Test (Form 7) is not currently available for homeschool orders. If you wish to administer the CogAT (Form 6), please see CogAT® for Homeschools.

Tester Qualifications

It is critical that the publisher's guidelines for administering the tests be followed precisely—please review the tester qualifications. For help locating a tester or for the tester application, please visit our Test Administrator support page.
