Testimonials

At Arrows Academy, we have found BJU Press materials to be a strong fit for our middle and high school students. We use their math curriculum in grades 6–12 and their social studies courses at the high school level. The supplemental materials provide meaningful reinforcement for students, and the teacher support is thorough and practical. These resources equip both students and teachers for success in the classroom and beyond.

Since 1968, Sheridan House Family Ministries has provided residential care for teen boys with behavior challenges. In 2020, Sheridan House Residential Program transitioned from public schools to homeschool instruction. While refining our academic vision, we found that BJU Press curriculum exceeded our expectations.

Sheridan House staff and students are enthusiastic about the concise, engaging videos, Bible-based curriculum, user-friendly online assignments, and ability to serve a wide range of learners. Our teacher, Ms. Ramirez, shares that it "challenges boys who excel while allowing adjustments for those who need extra support." The curriculum’s versatility has contributed to a rise in average GPA from 2.6 to 3.2, with several students reaching a 4.0 GPA.

Another exciting element is The Homeschool Hub. Students describe it as "easy to use" and "helpful." Teachers use extensive features of The Hub to track assignments, input and review grades, and print progress reports. The Hub makes it simple to adapt schedules, giving students the opportunity to enjoy enriching experiences, such as field trips, service projects, and career explorations.

In all, the BJU Press curriculum, and The Homeschool Hub have equipped Sheridan House Residential Program with the tools to provide a quality, flexible, and individualized education rooted in Biblical truths.
