This course encourages students to develop visual and digital literacy in continued teacher-modeling activities, additional visual-analysis activities, and lessons in internet safety and research.

Receiving Real-Time Writing Feedback

As you work through the writing process, you can help your student by holding writing conferences that go over specific details in writing. Suggestions for peer conferences are also available if you have opportunities for multiple students to review their writing together.

Student Workbook

The student workbook combines grammar and writing practice into one student-friendly book. Students will find age-appropriate illustrations that brighten both the writing and the grammar chapters. The workbook also provides writing models, teacher-guided practice, independent practice, chapter reviews, and cumulative reviews. A handbook in the back of the workbook provides a thesaurus and information about English grammar conventions.
