What is taught in the 3rd grade social studies curriculum?

The Heritage Studies 3 curriculum teaches world cultures from a biblical worldview to help students understand what it means to be responsible citizens. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to

  • demonstrate social studies skills and a foundational understanding of government, civics, geography, climate, economics, culture, and religion;
  • evaluate cultural ideas and practices from a biblical worldview;
  • propose solutions to economic, political, social, and environmental problems; and
  • understand the value of freedom, equality, and individual responsibility.
