This is a paper/pencil standardized achievement and abilities test for Iowa Assessments™ Form E and Cognitive Abilities Test™ (CogAT®) Form 7 K5 Spring/Grade 1 Fall. The test is designed to provide a reliable measure of student achievement and abilities, reveal how students learn, and help show whether a student is meeting his or her potential. - Level 5/6 CogAT subtests: Picture Analogies, Sentence Completion, Picture Classification, Number Analogies, Number Puzzles, Number Series, Figure Matrices, Paper Folding, and Figure Classification
- Level 6 Iowa Assessments subtests: Vocabulary, Word Analysis, Listening, Language, Mathematics, and Reading
Requirements
Your student will need the following to complete the paper/pencil test:
- $0 Test Administrator Kits (see below)
- Approved test administrator: Parents may test their own children. Be sure to follow all requirements from any organization requesting scores.
- Scratch paper and #2 pencil for Iowa Assessments (for use on CogAT with Quantitative battery only)
- Return shipping so that BJU Press can score tests. (Students must take Iowa Assessments to receive CogAT scores.)
Scheduling
- When to order: Orders generally ship around 2 weeks before the order's test date if placed as suggested below:
- Test dates in March–June: At least 4 weeks ahead
- Test dates in July–February: At least 2 weeks ahead
- Allow extra shipping and processing time for international orders.
- All materials must arrive back at BJU Press by the due date (21 days after the test date selected in checkout).
