It provides a solid foundation in grammar, covering parts of speech, sentence structure, and mechanics, and provides opportunities for students to develop and use research skills.
Math 2
Build number sense and problem-solving skills while building on students’ existing math knowledge. This edition of Math 2 helps students’ progress in number sense, interpreting data, understanding geometric figures, performing basic computations, using money, and telling and writing time, while applying biblical worldview themes and using math knowledge to solve real-world problems. This new 5th edition adds a STEM focus with STEM learning objectives, four independent coding lessons, and an entire chapter dedicated to coding.
Spelling 2
Using a practical approach to teach young spellers how to identify patterns and strategies, Spelling 2 goes beyond rote memorization and encourages thoughtful spelling. With a focus on meaning- based word study and dictionary skills to teach students how to use words well, this course helps to develop word consciousness so students become skilled spellers and well-equipped writers.
Spelling 3
Spelling 3 makes learning fun with colorful, hands-on pages filled with activities! Your child will explore everything from word sorting and word studies to proofreading, dictionary skills, and creative writing—all designed to build confidence and strengthen both spelling and communication skills. With 32 weekly lists (around 20 words each), your child will not only gain confidence in spelling but also learn how to become a better communicator for the glory of God.
Heritage Studies 4
Heritage Studies 4: Our United States guides your students through an engaging exploration of the cultural geography of the fifty states and five territories by geographic region. Students will explore the history of each state and territory along with an overview of American history. Science 5
Science 5 invites students to think, explore, and ask big questions. Using the Socratic method, students are guided to reason through scientific ideas and discover truth through guided questioning. Building on what they've already learned, this course helps them to connect science to everyday life through observation, analysis, and hands-on inquiry. Rooted in a biblical worldview and young Earth model, Science 5 explores life science, physical science, and earth science— while growing vocabulary, deepening understanding, and sharpening thinking skills.
World History
World History invites your child to study the major patterns that have shaped our world, revealing how they ultimately point to the triumph of God’s kingdom. This journey through history will cover developments from Creation to the twenty-first century. Along the way, your child will study significant periods of world history—from the earliest post-Flood civilizations to the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Reformation, and the Enlightenment. Your child will also have the opportunity to consider the development of Western civilization and explore the diverse civilizations and empires of Africa, Asia, and the pre-colonization Americas.
Geometry
Explore the world of geometry, where your teenager will build critical-thinking skills through hands-on experiences with 2-D and 3-D shapes. By combining classic geometric proofs with real-world problems, your student will use both digital and mechanical tools to create shapes, prove relationships, and calculate key measurements. By diving deep into transformations and trigonometric ratios, your child will discover how God’s design shapes our reasoning and ethical choices.
Algebra 2
Algebra 2 invites your student to deepen an understanding of math by viewing it as a powerful tool for understanding the world and living out faith. Grounded in a biblical worldview, the course tackles real-world problems through advanced topics such as polynomial, radical, and rational functions; systems of equations; trigonometric identities; and probability. As your student engages with linear programming, quadratic modeling, and data analysis, math becomes more than just solving equations—it becomes a means of using mathematical tools to serve others and honor God.
Biblical Worldview
Biblical Worldview: Beyond the Basics takes students beyond simply understanding a biblical worldview and foundational Christian doctrines, showing them how to use that worldview to interact with and understand today’s culture. By learning the Creation-Fall- Redemption paradigm and applying it to modern issues such as gender controversies, technology use, and government concerns, students learn not just how to understand but also how to do—applying their faith to make a difference in today’s culture.
