Spelling 3 helps students to grow into confident communicators by sharpening spelling skills. Through fun and effective word study techniques - like word sorting, phonics practice, and dictionary use - students study spelling patterns and word meanings.
In Spelling 3 the worktext extends the use of phonics patterns, suffixes, and the instruction of syllable patterns. Word sorting and other activities focus on word features and spelling-meaning connections. Dictionary skills include alphabetical order and the features of a dictionary page.
